Al-Hilal win King Cup Championship vanquishing rivals Al-Ahli

 

Riyadh (alarabiya) : Al-Hilal snatched the King Cup Championship from Al-Ahli team in a match patronized by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.

The match was held at Jeddah’s King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Sports City stadium on Thursday evening.

Al Hilal crushed their rivals three-two with the first half ending 1-1 before the King’s arrival.

Omer Kherbain, a Syrian professional of Al-Hilal scored the first goal of the match and of his team in the 28th minute while Mutaz Hawsawe got the equalizer in the 43rd.

In the 77th minute of the second half, Mohammed Jahfali added Al-Hilal’s second and Carlos Eduardo, Brazilian, made it three for Al-Hilal.

In the closing minutes of the match, Omer Al-Soma, a Syrian substitute, saved the hosts from embarrassment, scoring from the penalty area, making it 3-2.
